An accomplished executive and dynamic leader with hands-on experience in uncovering data that informs programming decisions and business priorities. I thrive in high-volume environments with the ability to navigate ever-changing business needs, improve operations, and continuously drive increased viewership.
Vice President, Content Insights
As VP of Content Insights, I lead the team tasked with reporting and analyzing multiplatform consumption data to the company and providing actionable insights for senior leadership and key stakeholders across Programming, Distribution, Program Planning & Scheduling, PR, and others.
My team is passionate about content and we pride ourselves on being able to ideate, collaborate, and coordinate with other teams to identify core viewers for the brand, forecast performance, optimize cross-platform scheduling strategies, support affiliate partner engagement, and maximize the brand’s acquisition strategy to support revenue goals and improve cost efficiency.
In the past year, the Content Insights team produced several show performance analyses, a deep dive focused on viewing trends for our underrepresented audiences, enhanced our in-depth competitive reporting, and created and improved a variety of metrics that support key business goals.
Director, Content Scheduling Strategy
As Director, Program Strategy, I oversaw the synthesis of quantitative and qualitative viewership data to conceptualize multiplatform scheduling strategies for new, returning, library, and international original programming.
In this role, I identified a need for in-depth competitive landscape tracking and analysis, creating data templates and providing reporting to department. executives. I have collaborated on optimizing KPI dashboards for the HBO brand, including HBO Max performance metrics. I created presentations for senior executives and teams (e.g. Diversity & Representation Inventory Analysis, Kids & Family Programming Landscape, and detailed multiplatform cable network analyses) utilizing evidence-based insights and intelligence to align actions with business goals.
Director, Programming Research
In my final role at Showtime following several years of upward career growth, I guided the daily efforts of a team of 3 entry and mid-level employees in addition to 2 year-round interns.
I hired, trained, and supervised the team in compiling Nielsen TV audience measurement data, utilizing quantitative data and customer analyses to create presentations focused on original programming with actionable insights for executives across Programming, Scheduling, Public Relations, Sports, Marketing, and Affiliate sales.
As part of my responsibilities, I controlled a Programming Research budget of ~$4M+, while seeking opportunities to reduce costs and optimize spending. I identified ways to provide senior leadership with key insights about the competitive landscape and Showtime programming viewership and engagement, offering recommendations that aided in programming development decisions, more informed marketing plans, and support during contract negotiations with cable affiliates.
